These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and GameLedger ("GameLedger", "we", "us") in relation to your use of the website published at gameguide003.northfivefun.com (the "Site"). By browsing the Site, fetching any page, or otherwise using the Site, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
GameLedger is an independent website that publishes editorial information and commentary about Android games available on Google Play. It is operated for editorial and informational purposes. GameLedger is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorised by Google LLC. "Google Play" is a trademark of Google LLC, and we use it only to identify the store our data comes from and to link to official listings. Any reference to Google Play on this Site is descriptive and does not imply that Google has reviewed, approved or contributed to anything we publish.
2. Acceptance and changes
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page, and the "last updated" date tells you when it changed. Material changes will be flagged on the Site. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Site and, if you like, tell us why at support@gameguide003.northfivefun.com.
3. Licence to use the Site
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the Site and to read, download and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short extracts from a review — a sentence or two, with a clear link back — provided you do not misrepresent it. You may not:
- copy, scrape, mirror or republish substantial parts of the Site, whether by hand, script, crawler or AI training pipeline;
- reproduce the Site layout or design in a way that makes it look like GameLedger;
- use automated systems to reach the Site at a rate that burdens our infrastructure or interferes with other visitors;
- remove or obscure copyright, attribution or licence notices;
- misrepresent simulated review content as authentic user reviews or as Google Play reviews, which is specifically prohibited;
- use the Site in any way that breaks applicable law.
4. Our content and ownership
All original text, page structure, code, graphic design and the "GameLedger" name and logo are owned by GameLedger or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. We do not transfer ownership of anything to you. Your licence in section 3 is the entirety of your rights in our content.
5. Game names, logos, artwork and descriptions
Game titles, names, logos, icons, cover images, screenshots, trailers, store descriptions, ratings, prices and the underlying intellectual property in all of them belong to their respective developers and publishers. Google Play listings and store descriptions are the property of Google LLC and the relevant rights holder. GameLedger does not claim ownership of any of it.
We use such material for editorial and nominative purposes only: to identify the game being discussed, to show a screenshot or icon so a reader can recognise the game, to quote the developer's own store description with clear attribution, and to link to the official listing so a reader can buy or install it. We use it under the fair dealing, editorial and nominative use exceptions that apply in the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States, and under any licence a developer or publisher may have granted. We do not sell this material, we do not use it to build a competing store, and we do not present it as our own.
If you are a rights holder and believe our use of your material is not permitted, tell us and we will deal with it promptly — see section 12.
6. Game data, ratings and prices
Information about games on the Site — including the Play Store score, the number of ratings, the download range, the price, the content rating, the version and the update date — is sourced from Google Play and reflects the store as it stood when we fetched it. It is provided as a guide, not as a guarantee.
Ratings change constantly as more people rate a game. Prices change, sometimes by region, sometimes through a temporary sale, and a game that is free to install may still contain in-app purchases or advertising. The developer's store listing is always the authoritative source for what a game costs and what it is rated. Always check the live listing on Google Play before you buy anything, and if the price or rating on our page does not match the store, the store is right.
7. Community reviews are simulated editorial content
The review text, reviewer names, star distributions and "helpful" counts shown on game pages are AI-assisted simulated editorial and community feedback. They are not real Google Play reviews, not quotations from real users, and not evidence that any named or implied person played the game. The handles are invented. We label this content as "GameLedger community reviews" wherever it appears, and our Editorial Policy explains the method in full.
Please do not treat any statement in that content as a warranty, a recommendation tailored to your circumstances, or an allegation about a developer or publisher. If you want to know what real players think, read the genuine reviews on the game's own Google Play page.
8. Acceptable use
You may use the Site for personal and internal business purposes. You agree not to:
- use the Site for anything unlawful or fraudulent, or in breach of any third-party rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, its data or any connected system, including by scanning ports, testing for vulnerabilities without permission, or attempting to bypass rate limits or access controls;
- interfere with, disrupt or degrade the Site, its hosting, or the experience of other visitors, including by deliberately overloading it;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data, or collect personal information about visitors;
- frame the Site inside another page in a way that obscures the source or misrepresents sponsorship;
- use automated means to submit content, contact us, or generate traffic.
9. Advertising and third-party links
GameLedger displays advertising supplied by third parties, including Google AdSense. Advertisements are selected and served by those networks, not by us. We do not endorse advertised products or services and we are not responsible for the content of advertisements or for anything that happens on a site an advertisement links to. Prices and claims in an advertisement are the advertiser's responsibility.
Game pages link to Google Play listings and some descriptions link to developer websites. These are third-party destinations governed by their own terms and privacy policies, over which we have no control. A link is not an endorsement.
10. Intellectual property complaints
If you believe that material on the Site infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights, send a written notice to support@gameguide003.northfivefun.com that includes: your name and contact details, identification of the material and where it appears on the Site, an explanation of the rights you assert, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised, and your physical or electronic signature. We will review the notice and, where it is justified, remove or disable the material and tell you. We may ask for the information reasonably needed to verify the claim. We will not publish a complainant's details, and we will not retaliate against anyone who makes a genuine complaint in good faith.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy or completeness. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any content will be complete or current. Game data is refreshed periodically and may lag the store. Prices, ratings and availability change without notice to us. You use the Site at your own risk.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameLedger and anyone involved in producing the Site are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GameLedger, its operator and contributors from and against any claim, demand, loss, expense or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any third party's rights, or your unlawful or infringing content.
14. Third-party components
The Site uses third-party services for hosting, delivery, fonts, images and advertising. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we do not warrant their availability, performance or fitness for purpose.
15. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if it cannot be modified, severed. The rest of the Terms stay in force. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it, and no waiver is a waiver of any future failure.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Site, and you and we both submit to that jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your own country of residence. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
